I love to be creative with clothing and locations and senior sessions give me the chance to do that. Lauren’s session was no exception. She loves clothes and dance. She is also a fun and outgoing girl who can work a camera. All of these things made for a very fun session. We started out in Yuma County near Lauren’s home. The groves are not the easiest place to take portraits because of the millions of gnats that are in them. But we braved the gnats in our eyes and mouths and got some really awesome images from that location. After that we decided to take some images around downtown Yuma. I used a few of the bright buildings around downtown to complement Lauren’s clothing. At the end of the session I wanted to capture Lauren doing what she loves so we took some of Lauren dancing. These are probably my favorite of the day. I used lighting to create a stage like appearance even though we were in the parking lot of an abandoned building. I had so many favorites from the day, but I narrowed it down to just a few to share on this blog.
