Brittanie’s Quinceanera: Yuma Photographer

Back in July I had the pleasure of photographing Brittanie’s quinceanera. Brittanie is wonderful and I was glad to be a part of her special day!  Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Brittanie’s first dress was a traditional white gown.

I thought it would be nice to get some images of Brittanie in her room before the ceremony. Here is one with her attendants. This is one of my faves from the day 🙂

I love this one of Brittanie by herself. Simply beautiful.

It was extremely hot out so I set up some lighting in the living room and got these images. Doesn’t she look stunning?

The ceremony was held at St. John Newman’s Catholic Church.

Here are some of the fabulous details from the reception. One of my favorite parts of the event was the candy buffet. So fun and tasty too 🙂

One of the traditions at a quinceanera is the changing of the shoes. Here is Brittanie’s father changing out her sneakers for heels (with a little help from mom).

I loved this moment.

Brittanie also performed a traditional waltz.

Brittanie’s cake was incredible! Jamie Hoffman of Yuma Couture Cakes did a fantastic job. The cake was also placed on a rotating stand by Cake Shoes.

Here are some more images from the party. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was packed. I couldn’t help but to bust out some dance moves while taking these  🙂

I will be doing another session with Brittanie wearing her gorgeous blue ball gown. I can’t wait to see what kind of images we get 🙂 I’ll be sure to post those too.
