2010 Year in Review: Yuma Photographer

2010 was a crazy year for my family and it seems like it just flew by. We welcomed our little baby James in April. We call him Jimmy D. and no its not after the bar ha ha. I had preterm labor with him and was on bed rest at the beginning of this year. Lucky for us he decided not to scare us again and he came on his due date. We are so happy to report that he is a healthy 9 month old now. Our little girl is growing so fast. She acts like a teenager even though she is not yet 4. We had a wonderful 3rd birthday party for her in May. 2010 has been mostly happy for us, but we lost some family members this year. They will always be in our hearts and we miss them dearly.

My business continued to grow in 2010. Even though I took some time off for maternity leave, my business still did very well. I have to thank all my fabulous clients for that 🙂 Many of you have referred me to your family and friends. I am so very grateful! I am so lucky to have a job that I LOVE and the best part is meeting wonderful people. Thank you to all my 2010 clients for letting me be a part of your lives. I hope to see you in 2011.

I also have to say a big thanks to all my photog friends that I have met over the years. It is so nice to have other photographers to talk to about the biz and to push me to be a better photographer. I have to give a big shout-out to Yuma photographer Tawnee Miller of Serendipity Photography. She is an amazing photographer and friend.

I decided to create a “Year in Review” slide show for 2010. This year I stumbled upon Pummelvision when another photog featured it on her blog. It is a very appropriate slide show for a year that just seem to pass by in the blink of an eye. The slide show is super fast, but what I love about it is that it is very subliminal. It is interesting what images pop out at you. Enjoy viewing all my 2010 sessions and events in less than 40 seconds.
