Bows and Ballerinas: Yuma Photographer

I am in the middle of busy season with holiday sessions and weddings so its been slow going on the blogging end. However, I am going to try to blog more because I have so many projects I want to share 🙂

Not too long ago I was asked by Jane Bendall of MelissaJane Boutique if I could take some photos for her website. I was thrilled because she is a fabulous designer of children’s clothing. I was excited too because my daughter would get to be one of the models. This would be the first time that my daughter would be modeling. Yes, she has grown up in front of the camera having a photographer for a mom, but she has never really enjoyed it ha ha. Posing for photos has never really been her thing. She would much rather be running around and getting dirty. So I was a little nervous about how she would do. As you can see she did a great job and her outfit was beyond adorable! I also did some photos of  Miss Sierra in another MelissaJane creation. Sierra is a pro so it was easy getting these images. If you would like to see more of Jane’s designs you can visit the MelissaJane Boutique website or the MelissaJane facebook page.

I also wanted to share a photo I took of my friend Tawnee Miller of Serendipity Photography by Tawnee. She recently donated the profits from the Academy dance portrait session to Ballet Yuma’s scholarship fund. Way to go Tawnee!

Ballet Yuma’s Nutcracker is coming December 9-11. For more information about where to purchase tickets visit their facebook page.
