Yuma was having a record heat wave, but that didn’t spoil the mood or the beauty of the day. I am so glad I got to be a part of Julie and Oscar’s wedding!
We started the day at St. Francis Church. Julie, the bridesmaids and the flower got ready at the church. Julie’s mom helped her with her dress while the flower girl got some finishing touches done to her hair.

Julie wrote a note to her groom to be right before the ceremony. 
While I took photos of the girls getting ready, my second shooter Andrea Hauck took some candids of the groom and groomsmen. Andrea is a good friend and a super talented photographer. I was happy to have her second shoot with me for the ceremony portion of the day.
The ceremony was beautiful.
After the ceremony we took some portraits of the bridal party as well as the family on the altar. 
Originally we had wanted to take some portraits of Julie and Oscar outside, but with the temperature above 115 it would be pretty uncomfortable. So we headed to the Hilton Garden Inn and got some wonderful indoor portraits.
Julie’s makeup was done by Lee Keoni of Beauty by Lee. Julie looked gorgeous and Oscar was a handsome groom.
The reception was held on base at the Sonoran Pueblo. Stephanie of Stephanie Marie Photography was my second shooter for the reception portion of the day. She is an awesome photographer and so fun to work with. Here are some of the images she captured of the reception.
I took some photos of all the girls together at the reception site. It was super hot outside so it was very quick, but we got some great images. 
It was a super fun reception and I think just about everyone in attendance was on the dance floor.
